Liberty's Kids 28 - Not Yet Begun To Fight

Wednesday, October 8th 2008 @ 1:25 AM    post viewed 1027 times

The Ship Sarah is on faces heavy weather and is destroyed. Captain John Paul Jones finds Sarah. Sarah is asked by one of the British prisoners to help them escape.

The ship commanded by John Paul Jones runs across a British ship so he raises the British Flag to get a little intelligence. The British Captain tells Captain Jones enough without realizing who he is. But despite the fact the British military ship is currently defenseless, Captain Jones arms them and moves on to his target.

As they reach their targets they attack a British Convoy. And when they are losing Sarah asked Captain Jones to surrender, but he then speaks those immortal words, "I have not yet begun to fight!"

Captain Jones has the sails set afire to create a smoke screen and runs. The British ship pursued, but Jones' ship turned to fight in the cloud of smoke. The crew of Captain Jones' ship board the British ship and take it, though his ship sinks shortly afterward. Before the ship sinks however Sarah frees the British prisoners and records the battle for publication as she once again joins the American cause.

While Captain John Paul Jones' crew is making repairs, Sarah tells him that he has inspired her and that she was going to find her mother and declare herself an American.
