CURRICULUM FOR BOOK: What ties your family together? Anne moved from Russia with her family. Her and her mother made a special quilt from some old clothing to help them remember where they came from. The quilt becomes an important part of the family's life and is passed down through four generations. The quilt takes part in many celebrations and everyday things: weddings, babies' births, picnics, and table clothes.
