CURRICULUM FOR CHAPTER BOOK: These are some of the happiest times in Laura's life! Not only has she started to teach school in order to earn money to keep Mary in College, but she also has a beau, Almanzo Wilder. He makes long trips by sleigh in the winter to bring her home for weekends and takes her out in his buggy in the spring and summer.
