CURRICULUM FOR SHORT STORY: A Fir tree in a forest has one wish. It wishes to be as tall or as beautiful as the other trees. It is never happy because it is always wanting more than what it is. One day, it is finally taken away to be a Christmas tree. For one night, it is beautifully decorated and got to hear a story with the children. After that night, it was thrown away and never bothered with again. The fir tree learned that it should have been much happier while it was still in the forest.
