CURRICULUM FOR SHORT STORY: A goblin lives with a huckster who boards a student in his garret. The goblin lives there because of a tasty treat he gets at Christmas. That clever, little goblin knew where his jam came from and was happy. Then he found the beauties of poetry. He becomes confused as to where he belongs and learns that he must divide his time between his love of poetry and of filling his belly. He becomes confused as to where he wants to be when he finds he loves the magic of watching the student read poetry.
