CURRICULUM FOR SHORT STORY: No one wanted to marry Blue Beard. They were afraid of his strange appearance. And besides that, he had been married several times and no one knew what happened to his wives. He manages to charm a neighbor girl into marrying him. Shortly after they are married, he goes on a trip and leaves his new wife with all of his keys. He tells her she can go anywhere in the house except for one closet. Curiosity gets the best of her and she opens this closet only to discover the dead bodies of Blue Beard's previous wives. When he finds out that his wife disobeyed him, Blue Beard gets ready to kill her. Her brothers arrive just in time and save her.
